Selected Ministries at Headwaters
The purpose of each Ministry at Headwaters is to produce and develop mature disciples of Jesus of all ages. We understand discipleship as a life long process not a procedure. Check out the sections below for an overview of some of our ministries. If you would like to know more or want to get involved in a ministry, contact us! Plus, we’ll be adding additional ministries to this list on an ongoing basis. Please check back soon and get plugged in!
At Headwaters, we believe that God created the family as the foundational unit of society. Because of this we like keeping families together during worship. Kids ages 3-5 are always welcome to stay with parents during the worship service or they can head down to Kids Worship during the Meet & Greet time. The Nursery is always open for infants and toddlers ages 0-2.
Sometimes on our Serving Projects you’ll find us painting at the Montana Youth Homes, planting flowers at the YWCA, or building trails with Prickly Pear Land Trust. Sometimes it means doing a blood drive with the Red Cross or making a meal at God’s Love homeless shelter. Sometimes it’s as simple as writing a letter to soldier serving far away from home.
This team supports and takes initiative in dreaming, planning, and providing vibrant and meaningful worship services and events that help the congregation and guests into an awareness of God’s invitation to know and worship him. The Public Worship & Celebration ministry area is an umbrella group for activities that help to welcome, involve, lead, inspire, and enfold those coming to public worship and celebration events. This team works with the minister of worship.
